Some 327 cultural facilities in Fukui, Mie, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama and Tokushima will open for free on November 17th and 18th.
The campaign is part of Kansai Culture Day, started in 2003 to promote art and science in the Kansai region. It is the fifth time the event is being held. Last year, 273 facilities participated and succeeded in attracting some 245,000 visitors.
