Theme:
Japan Museum SieboldHuis in Leiden, the Netherlands, is a place where you can learn about the Japan of the past and the present. His Majesty the Emperor remarked at the State Banquet in Honour of Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (October 29, 2014) “The SieboldHuisin the Netherlands, which reopened in 2005 after renovations, plays a major role as a new symbol of Japanese-Dutch exchange. I hope that the peoples of our two countries, by maintaining a mutual interest in one another, will be able to further build on their historical exchanges and develop new cooperative ties.” This presentation gives insight in how we as Japan Museum promote Siebold, Japanese culture and the relationship between Japan – Netherlands.
