Saint Nicholas party 2023 

The NVWJ Saint Nicholas party for this year will take place on Sunday, December 1st, in Osaka. It promises to be a day filled with Dutch delicasies, Sinterklaas songs, and, of course, a special visit from Sinterklaas and Piet.

Date: December 1st (Sunday)
Location: Netherlands consulate-general in Osaka (在大阪オランダ王国総領事館)
Time: 11:00 am (doors will open from 10:30 to drop-off the gifts)
Participation fee: ¥1500 per person (there is no fee for children aged 0-2). 

If the weather is nice, we can have lunch outside in the Nakanoshima park afterwards. Please bring your own food, snacks and a picnic sheet. To make sure we order sufficient Dutch snacks, we would appreciate it if you could let us know as possible who will participate.

To register, please send an email to beheer@hollandjapan.com. We kindly ask that registrations be submitted by November 18, and any fun facts for Sinterklaas by November 25.

Important notice for participants with children:

• We would like to ask to bring a small gift for your own child(ren) and to hand it over to us wrapped and with a name sticker before 11:00 am, so that the Petes can put them in the correct bags (we will prepare a room in the back of the consulate out of sight of the children). 

• Please also email us a few fun/interesting facts per child (max 3 sentences, for example about hobbies, achievements, interests, school activities) for in the Sinterklaas book. This will help Sinterklaas prepare for the gift giving. You can email these to the following email adress: beheer@hollandjapan.com
